TFL funding for Eltham High Street Mon, 9th March
The Royal Borough has been successful in securing funding from Transport for London to develop and implement a major scheme to improve the public realm and movement arrangements in Eltham High Street over the next couple of years. An initial £2.4m of funding has been granted to develop a scheme in consultation with local stakeholders.

The architect practice East has been appointed to design a scheme and we would like to hear the views of local residents, businesses and users of the town centre to support the development of the proposals. If you would like to have your say in helping to shape the future of the town centre, please visit https://elthamhighstreet.stickyworld.com/home where you can leave comments, ask questions and subscribe to email alerts. The web portal will remain live until the early April.

Object to the Greenwich Council Pavement Tax Mon, 30th September
If you disagree with the new "Pavement Tax" being levied on any of our local shops who wish to display their products outside their shop, or put tables and chairs outside so we can enjoy a coffee or meal in the sunshine, then sign the petition

Not sure how they square this with their stated intention for widening the High Street pavements, narrowing the road, to encourage a more "cafe culture"!
